LED lamps gradually occupy the current electric lamp market with their advantages of high brightness, low energy consumption, and long life. Generally speaking, LED lights are difficult to cause problems. With regard to LED lights, there are three problems: the lights are not bright, the lights are dimmed, and the lights flicker after turning off the lights. LED light structure

There are two forms of LED lights, one is a ceiling light, and the other is a light bulb. Regardless of the lamp type, the internal structure is the same, divided into lamp beads and drivers.

Lamp beads

Open the shell of the ceiling light or the white plastic part of the bulb, and you can see a circuit board covered with a yellow rectangle inside. The yellow on this board is lamp beads. The lamp bead is the light source of the LED lamp, and its number determines the brightness of the LED lamp.

Driver

The LED bulb driver is installed at the bottom and cannot be seen from the outside. The driver of the ceiling light is a black box, and it is required to install the driver before installing the lamp.

The driver has functions such as constant current, step-down, rectification, and filtering.

The LED light does not light up the solution

When the light goes out, you should first confirm whether the circuit is normal. If it is a new lamp, measure it with an electric pen, or install an incandescent lamp to see if there is the voltage in the circuit. After confirming that the circuit is normal, you can start the following troubleshooting.

Drive problem

The lights are not lit, and the problem is the driver. Light-emitting diodes have high requirements for current and voltage. If the current and voltage are too large or too small, it will not light up normally. Therefore, constant current drivers, rectifiers, and bucks in the drivers are needed to maintain their use.

If the indicator light does not turn on after turning on the light, the driver should be considered first. You can now buy a new drive to replace it.

LED light dimming solution

This problem should be solved together with the previous one. This may happen if the brightness of the lamp dims or does not brighten.

Lamp failure

The lamp beads of the LED lamp are divided into a series of strings, and the lamp beads on each string are connected in series, series, and parallel.

Therefore, if a lamp bead burns on this rope, it will cause the string of lights to go out. If one lamp beads on each wire burn out, it will cause the entire lamp to go out. If there are burnt beads in each wire, consider the capacitor or resistor on the driver.

The burnt lamp beads and normal lamp beads can be seen from the appearance. There is a black spot in the center of the burnt lamp beads, which cannot be wiped off.

If the number of burned-out lamp beads is small, you can use a soldering iron to solder the two soldering feet behind the burned-out lamp beads together. If the number of burned-out lamp beads is too much, it is recommended to buy lamp beads for replacement, so as not to affect the brightness of the lighting.

Solutions for LED blinking after turning off

The light flashes after it goes out. First, confirm the wiring problem. The most likely problem is the neutral line of the switch control. In this case, it must be corrected in time to avoid danger. The correct way is to switch the control line and the centerline.

If there is no problem with the circuit, the LED lamp may generate a self-inductance current. The easiest way is to buy a 220-volt relay and connect the coil in series to the lamp.
