1.Ways to improve filtration efficiency



Increase hot air flow or temperature (increase fiber fineness, reduce porosity, increase trapping capacity, but increase resistance).


Increase the electrostatic voltage (current) (polarize the fiber, increase the electrostatic field energy of the fiber and improve its adsorption capacity).


Add powder or other electrons to the raw materials (to increase the chargeability and storage time of the fibers so that they can carry more charge time).


Increase the suction under the net (increase the density of Melt Blown Nonwoven Fabric Fiber and improve the ability of fiber capture) (much larger grams, not commonly used).


Appropriately reduce the output (in the same process, the extrusion volume becomes smaller, the fiber becomes thinner, and the resistance increases).

2. Ways to reduce resistance



Reduce hot air flow or temperature (fiber coarsening, high porosity, low resistance and reduced efficiency).


Increased DCD (increased fiber bulkiness, high porosity and reduced efficiency).


Reduce the spinning environment temperature (fully cool the fiber, fluffy structure, increase porosity, and use hot air to reduce resistance and improve efficiency).


Reduce the suction under the steel wire (dense and fluffy fibers, greater porosity, more significant weight).


Decrease the working temperature of the heated area (such as the die (tip)) (fiber thickens and increases porosity).


Increase the metering pump (the coarsening of the extruded fiber and the increase of the porosity, usually used in the order of rapid conversion).


Appropriately reduce the number of grams (within the scope of internal control).



3. Ways to reduce resistance and improve efficiency at the same time



Increase the DCD, while appropriately increasing the hot air flow or temperature to reduce the air absorption at the bottom of the net (increase the fineness and bulkiness of the fiber).


Increase the fiber fineness while reducing the temperature of the spinning environment (for example, by adding cold air devices).


Improve the bulkiness of the fiber, while appropriately increasing the electrostatic voltage (current) and increasing the amount of powder added.


Increase the fineness of the fiber and appropriately reduce the weight (not commonly used).
