The life of aluminum profile extrusion die has become the main bottleneck for the development of aluminum extrusion industry in China. The design and manufacturing cost of aluminum profile extrusion dies accounts for about 20% of the total production cost, and is one of the key technologies with many variables and fast development in aluminum extrusion industry, which involves many aspects such as material, design, manufacturing, testing, mold repair and management, and is also one of the areas with greater development potential.

How can we use this kind of shunt die more reasonably, we can start from the following aspects.

(1), Strict implementation of aluminum extrusion production process regulations

Must be strictly in accordance with the corresponding aluminum extrusion process, the temperature of the middle section of the aluminum bar furnace in the start-up process is set at 530-550 ℃, the temperature of the export section is set at 480-500 ℃, the insulation time should be sufficient to ensure that the aluminum bar is warm enough and through the heart (i.e., the heart and surface are warm enough), to avoid the increase in die elastic deformation due to the inconsistency of the aluminum bar temperature table (insufficient temperature in the heart), thus aggravating The phenomenon of "partial wall" and "different length" occurs, and even make the extrusion die plastic deformation and scrap.

(2), To ensure that the "three hearts in one"

Extrusion cylinder center, extrusion rod center and die seat center visual must be concentric, do not allow obvious eccentric phenomenon, otherwise it will affect the flow rate of the product everywhere, or even affect the product molding or extrusion products left and right two length difference is greater and can not be extruded production.

(3), The reasonable choice of support pad

Must choose the appropriate size of the double-hole special support pad, in order to reduce the elastic deformation of the lower die, so that the extruded products molding stable, small size changes; and must be in the mold out of the furnace before the double-hole special support pad to find a good backup, so as to avoid the mold out of the furnace because of looking for the support pad takes too long to make the mold cool down too much and boredom;.

(4), Strengthen the information feedback in the extrusion process of aluminum profiles

A: extrusion die plugging information feedback

There are many reasons for mold plugging, and it is generally difficult to express clearly without special training, and it is best to find the reason after the corresponding mold repair personnel have personally viewed the mold before boiling.

B: Feedback on discharge molding

In addition to the extrusion die number clearly marked material head, but also in the material head marking material head difficult to see the overall flow of the situation, such as a, "intersecting discharge" (indicating that in the actual extrusion process is caused by the two holes inside slow outside fast); b, "phase away from the discharge " (indicating that in the actual extrusion process is caused by the two holes inside fast outside slow); c, "left long right short" indicates that the left branch is long and the right branch is short, and to indicate the amount of difference in length, because the distance from the interrupted saw to the outlet is about 6 meters, so usually "A meter / 6 meters The form of "A meter / 6 meters" indicates that the difference in length is A meter for every 6 meters, so that the perfect and accurate expression is conducive to the correct judgment and maintenance of mold repair personnel.

C: Information feedback of dimensional over-difference.

When encountering the situation that the discharge molding is normal but the size is over-compensated, a section of the sample must be taken to make a complete and correct identification (extrusion die number, discharge direction, size defects, etc.), any of these identification errors may lead to repairing the wrong die, so a high degree of attention must be paid.

Only such complete information feedback on the use of the situation is conducive to the correct judgment and maintenance of mold repair personnel, in order to improve the efficiency of mold maintenance, in order to reduce the number of mold repair and unnecessary mold trials.
