As a Chicken Cages Manufacturers, share with you. The laying cage is a "house" tailor-made for laying hens. According to the breeding technology, breed, body type and weight of the laying hens, it is divided into deep cage and shallow cage. The ratio of cage width to cage depth is less than 1 for deep cages, and the ratio of cage width to cage depth is greater than 1 for shallow cages. Relatively speaking, the number of chickens in deep cages is about 1/5. Shallow cages lay eggs. The rate is about 4% higher.

According to the combination of cages, it can be divided into three types: full-stepped, half-stepped and stacked cages.

(1) Full-step chicken coop

The full ladder type generally has 2-3 layers of cages, the upper and lower cages are completely staggered, and the chicken manure directly falls in the manure ditch, which is conducive to cleaning the manure; good ventilation and sufficient light. The disadvantage is that it covers a relatively large area and low stocking density.

(2) Half-step chicken coop

The arrangement of half-stepped chicken cages is similar to that of full ladders, but there is a partial overlap between the upper and lower layers of chicken cages, and there is a manure bearing plate under the overlapping part of the cage, and the manure can be cleaned into the manure ditch when installed at a certain angle. The semi-stepped layer cage mode has a certain breeding density, and the breeding equipment can realize a combination of mechanical automation and manual operation. At the same time, it has good advantages in ventilation of the livestock house and lighting of the chickens. Therefore, at this stage, Half-step layer cage raising equipment is widely used in China.

Because of its higher feeding density than full-step chicken cages, it has higher requirements for ventilation, cooling, and disinfection.

(3) Stacked layer cage

The upper and lower layers of the chicken cage are completely overlapped, generally 3-5 layers, with a large gap between the upper and lower layers, and the built-in manure tray is convenient for manure cleaning operations. Its advantages are high feeding density and small floor space. The disadvantage is that the requirements for the construction, ventilation equipment, and manure removal equipment of the chicken house are high, and it is not convenient to observe the situation of the upper and lower flocks, which brings certain difficulties to the management. At present, only a few chicken farms use stacked layer cages.
