However, the service life of a machine filter is mainly judged based on its filtering capacity, rather than its own quality. As we just mentioned, if there are too many impurities in the oil and grease, it will stick to the filter paper and block the filter holes, resulting in lower oil pressure. The impurities will let the oil directly enter the engine, which is equivalent to the oil not being filtered. In fact , this time is already the time to change the filter.

Therefore, the replacement of the filter depends on the cleanliness of the oil. Let us take an example. For example, we changed the oil and filter element. If we do not change the oil during maintenance for 5000 km, we only change the filter, but the time to change the new filter will not reach 5000 Kilometers, maybe 2000 kilometers, 3000 kilometers need to be replaced, because the old engine oil contains more impurities than the new engine oil.
