What is the use of hexagonal mesh?

Hexagonal wire mesh is a mesh fence that has hexagonal holes (sizes) in it and has many different applications. One of the most common names for hexagonal wire mesh is chicken wire, as the mesh is often used as a fence for chicken coops and has other farming uses. The net can also be used to make gabions to help control flooding and water levels. The industrial use of such meshes is sorting, although special wire meshes are often required for this purpose. Arts and crafts can also use this wire to form objects.

Probably the most common use of hexagonal wire mesh is on farms, especially chicken farms. This line is fastened to the post to create a fence that the chickens cannot pass through. This wire mesh is often cheap, making it financially easier for farmers to control where their chickens go. The screen can also deter pests by placing a fence on the fence, and can be wrapped around trees and crops to help them grow and protect.

Another use of hexagonal mesh is in gabion boxes, which can be box-shaped or not. Wrap the wire mesh around the large and medium stones to keep them together, and place the box on the levee. This increases the height of these planes, making it harder for water to reach homes and buildings. Even if there is no flooding, it can help keep water standing if the water level is too high.

In industry, hexagonal wire mesh can be used as a sorting mechanism if the manufacturing plant does not have the funds to purchase a more efficient sorting mechanism. Place items on the wire mesh and those smaller than the hole will be pushed to another area, while larger items stay on the wire mesh. Depending on the manufacturer, larger or smaller items are desirable before further processing. Manufacturing plants often require items of a specific size, so these grids are often custom made.

The grid can also be used for arts and crafts projects, often used by amateur artists. Hexagonal wire mesh can be used to form objects and then add other materials on top of the mesh. It can also be used to hold art supplies together, but as the basis for an art project, the grid is usually underneath all other items.
