Peyton Williams Manning(Peyton Manning Hof Statue), born on March 24, 1976, former American football player, quarterback, played in the NFL for 18 seasons, mainly for the Indianapolis Colts (Indianapolis Colts).
Manning, considered one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, played 14 seasons with the Colts and was a member of the Denver Broncos in his final four seasons. Manning played college football at the University of Tennessee, leading the Tennessee Volunteers to the 1997 Southeast Division Championship in his senior season. He is the second son of former NFL quarterback Archie Manning and older brother of New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.

Manning was selected first overall by the Indianapolis Colts in the 1998 NFL Draft. From 1998 to 2010, he boosted the underperforming Colts, helping transform the home team into playoff contenders. Among them, the Super Bowl championship is the team’s first championship in more than three decades and the first since the team moved to Indianapolis.
After undergoing neck surgery that forced him to miss the entire 2011 season, Manning was waived by the Colts and signed with the Denver Broncos. As the team’s starting quarterback from 2012 to 2015, he kept the Broncos close to the top of the division each year, and his career included a Super Bowl 50 victory.
On March 7, 2016, Manning announced his retirement.
