Maintenance and regular maintenance of belt conveyor can increase the service life . When overhauling and maintaining the belt conveyor, please check the following parts:

1. The support point of the belt conveyor:

The vulnerable part of the conveyor belt is conveyed at the support point. Belt speed and its raw material specifications relative to the actual operation of the belt, impact force and actual operating position of the load are all key elements to be aware of. The total width of the buried hole feeding safety channel coordinator should be sufficiently large.

Loading raw materials from a viewing angle in the middle of the belt's operating position always aggravates the damage to the belt's surface. The collision of the raw material on the tape and the axial force of the knife can cause the tape to climb to the other side along the rotating drive shaft and go away, which will destroy the tape and increase the damage of part of the tape.

Raw materials with large proportions and sharp edges and corners can cause some pounding or rolling on the fast-moving tape, and will continue to scratch and damage the finish. The general way to reduce this type of damage is to put the powdered material on the tape first, and then load the material to disperse the material, so that the powdered material can be used as a cushion and maintain the tape.

The stencil interval set at the opening chute. Crushed raw materials will first fall onto the tape according to the gaps between the stainless steel screen bars to create a buffer layer. After reducing the velocity of the stainless steel mesh bars, the bulk raw material will slowly burst onto the buffer layer. Hazards of raw materials to tape.

2. The guide groove of the belt conveyor:

The guide groove is another reason for the damage to the surface of the tape. The closer to the tape, the more serious the damage. The raw material guide should not touch the tape, and there should be some space between the bottom and the tape. The vulcanized rubber separator on the lower edge of the raw material guide should be checked frequently to avoid the material from sticking. The fixed part of the equipment at the loading point should not touch the surface of the tape, nor should the raw material be clamped in the raw material guide groove.

3. All the rollers of the continuous conveyor should rotate flexibly. Improper selection of the diameter of the rollers will cause bad harm to the service life of the drive belt. If there are many accessories on the drum, the conveyor belt will be deflected, the skin vulcanized rubber will be abnormally damaged, and the drive belt core will be partially fatigued or even broken. Therefore, it should be checked immediately. Positive roller covered plastic sleeves increase frictional resistance, reduce support and reduce misalignment due to wet and cold standards. Cracked vulcanized rubber sleeve specification changes the actual effect of cleaning the sleeve size and drive belt, increasing the life of the roller. When the outer plastic sleeve of the roller is abnormally damaged, it should be replaced as soon as possible.

4. Left and right drive shafts:

When inspecting the drive shaft, please clean up the dirt adhering to the surface of the drive shaft, especially when paying attention to the drive shaft. Immobilization can sometimes cause the belt to deflect, which can damage the edges of the belt. A damaged and non-rotating drive shaft must be replaced immediately. In addition, the management methods and lubrication requirements of the drive shaft should be strictly implemented. If too much unsalted butter is introduced, it will leak onto the conveyor belt. After covering the surface of the conveyor belt with unsalted butter and grease, the vulcanized rubber will become loose and swell, layered, fall off, and even cause the conveyor belt and the belt pulley to rotate differently, thereby causing abnormal damage to the vulcanized rubber belt.

The different parts of the upper drive shaft and the wrong setting of the skewed and bent part (the included angle) will cause abnormal bending of the transmission belt and cause fatigue damage, which will increase the damage to the non-working surface of the transmission belt and cause vertical gaps. The drive shaft will bulge, causing the belt to vibrate and splash material during operation, and even cause damage to the belt, so it must be removed immediately.
