What Is an Ultrasonic Liquid Level Transmitter?

An ultrasonic liquid level transmitter works by emitting high-frequency ultrasonic pulses from a sensor (probe). These sound waves reflect off the surface of the material and return to the sensor. The time taken for the echo to return is converted into distance, allowing accurate level detection.

Because it's non-contact, it eliminates problems like corrosion, clogging, or wear — making it low-maintenance and cost-effective.
