Normalizing: A standard heat treatment process that refines grain size to improve low-temperature toughness.

Main purpose

Precautions for Processing and Construction
Welding process: Low hydrogen welding rods are required, and stress relief annealing is required after welding.
Cold bending processing: Avoid excessive cold deformation that may cause local embrittlement.
Inspection requirement: 100% non-destructive testing (UT or RT) is required to ensure that the weld seam is defect free.
Standard specifications
ASME standards: comply with ASME BPVC (Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code) and ASME B31.3 (Process Piping Code).
