Five Things You Don’t Know About LED Bulbs

LED bulbs are energy-saving and can be used for many years, but there are some little-known features that need to be considered when measuring the development of LEDs. Industrial COB LED chip supplier shares with you.

If you have heard of home LED bulbs, you may know that they are energy-efficient, durable, and more expensive than other bulb technologies.

LED is cooler.

This summer, when you turn on the fan or air conditioner, burning incandescent light bulbs will only make it harder for you to control the heat. LED lamps are much colder than incandescent lamps and much colder than energy-saving lamps.

The online retailer EnergyCircle actually measured the difference and found a halogen bulb and an incandescent bulb, running at 327 degrees! The temperature of the Cree LED downlight is 107 degrees, and the temperature of the Philips Par38 CFL is 167 degrees.

This is not to say that heat is not a problem at all. The LED bulb will indeed get hot, but the heat will be dissipated by the metal heat sink that absorbs the heat of the light source itself. Like switch lighting, using radiators or even liquid cooling to keep them cool is important to ensure that they stay as long as advertised.

You will get plenty of light immediately.

When you turn on an LED bulb, you can get its full brightness, which has advantages over the CFL in many ways. First, if you run in and out of a room, you do n’t need to wait for full light. However, frequent cycles also reduce the life of CFLs, which is one of the reasons why CFLs cannot continue as expected in some cases.

Light-emitting diodes do not attract bugs.

"There are no bugs!" (Ie insects) as one of the reasons for using LEDs.

The reason why insects do not fly to LEDs is that insects are attracted to ultraviolet rays, and at least some LEDs do not emit such light.

The shape of the LED is interesting.

Lighting manufacturers have tried to make LED bulbs look as familiar as possible, and the most important thing is to have a screw-in connector. But imitating Edison bulbs is limited.

Of course, lumens are used to measure the amount of light, and the equivalent of 60 watts can emit at least 800 lumens. But LEDs also have color temperature sales, either warmer yellow lights or cooler white lights. Then there is the color rendering index, the highest is the best for light quality.

Warm lights will be more common because they are closer to the yellow light of fluorescent or incandescent lamps.
