4. Insulation resistance: It refers to the resistance value that appears when the voltage is applied to the insulation part of the connector, so that a leakage current is generated in or on the surface of the insulation part.

b) The insulation resistance value provided on the connector samples is generally the index value under standard atmospheric conditions. Under certain environmental conditions, the insulation resistance value will be reduced to an unnecessary degree.
