As a professional hardware manufacturer with more than 20 years of experience, Huabang do full-process manufacturing and customized production from raw material preparation to finished products. Relying on exquisite forging technology, intelligent production and a strict quality control system, we provide high-strength, high-wear-resistance, complex-structure precision hot-forged components for automotive, machinery, power, aerospace, rail transit and other industries.
Technical Principle of Hot Forging
Hot forging is a precision forming process that heats metal blanks above the recrystallization temperature (usually 60%-80% of the material's melting point, such as 1100-1250℃ for carbon steel and 450-520℃ for aluminum alloy), applies pressure at high temperature to cause plastic deformation, and shapes the target shape through the mold cavity. The high-temperature environment can significantly reduce metal deformation resistance, improve material plasticity, facilitate the forming of complex structural parts, and ensure the mechanical properties of parts meet standards through subsequent heat treatment optimization.
Compared with cold extrusion and cutting processing, hot forging is more suitable for mass production of high-strength, large-size, complex special-shaped parts. It can effectively eliminate internal metal defects (such as porosity and air holes), make the grain structure uniform and dense, and significantly improve the overall bearing capacity and service life of parts.
Hot Forging Process Features and Advantages
Excellent plasticity:
Can form complex features such as multi-steps, deep cavities, special-shaped curved surfaces, and toothed structures in one step.
Excellent Properties:
● Excellent strength: After high-temperature forming and heat treatment optimization, the tensile strength of parts can reach 800-1500MPa, and the yield strength is increased by more than 40%, suitable for heavy-duty working conditions.
● Impact resistance and fatigue life: Effectively eliminates internal metal defects such as porosity and air holes, refines and uniformizes grains, and significantly improves impact resistance and fatigue life.
● High wear resistance: Combined with material composition optimization and hot forging process, the surface hardness of parts can reach HRC35-55.
Wide adaptability:
Wide structural adaptability, Full size coverage, Compatible with various metal materials, optimizable via heat treatment, meeting multi-industry application needs.
High material utilization rate:
the material utilization rate can reach 90%+, and the production cycle is shortened by 30%-50% compared with traditional forging.
