The Tall Oil Fatty Acid Price Trend in India showed a clear upward movement during Q2 2026, with imported prices rising across both USA and Finland supply routes. Higher feedstock costs, rising energy expenses, freight pressure, and steady buying interest from industries such as oleochemicals, coatings, and lubricants all played a role. India saw a stronger increase than several other monitored markets, particularly for Finland-origin material. However, June brought a noticeable correction as buyers became more cautious after prices had moved up sharply during the quarter.
The second quarter of 2026 was a period of considerable movement for the global Tall Oil Fatty Acid market. Prices increased across the major markets monitored during the quarter, although the size of the increase differed by origin and destination.
For India, the market was influenced mainly by two important supply origins: the USA and Finland. Both routes recorded higher CIF Nhava Sheva prices during Q2, but Finland-origin material experienced a much stronger increase.
For USA-origin Tall Oil Fatty Acid, the price of the Rosin Content 2–3% grade increased by around 9.96% during Q2 2026. The 1% grade also moved higher, increasing by approximately 8.56%.
